General Tour Information
ALL TOURS INCLUDE: Transportation by late model, wide body European Van Hool Motorcoaches equipped with: restroom, reclining seats, air conditioning and tv/vcr systems; Accommodations at first class hotels and motels; All sightseeing tours, guides and admissions as listed in the itinerary; baggage handling for one bag per person; any meals listed in the itinerary.
Not Included: (gratuities for your motorcoach driver and tour director - these are not required but are greatly appreciated; Gratuities for “step on” guides; any personal expenses (valet service, room service, phone calls, etc.)
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Please note that we now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
The initial deposit for the tour is required within 7 days of your Reservation - no seats will be held if deposit is not received within this time period. All one day tours require full payment within 10 days of your reservation (no exceptions). Balance is due 30 days prior to departure on all motorcoach tours (no statement will be sent for balance due). Balances on tours that include airfare and cruise fare are due no later than 60 days prior to departure.
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS: One day tours - full payment; tours $500.00 and less -$50.00; tours $501 to $1000 - $1000.00; tours $1000 and over - $150.00. Tours that include airfare and/or cruise fare will require a higher deposit - you will be notified of the amount at the time of your reservation.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: A full refund will be given for cancellations received more than 30 days prior to departure. Cancellations received 30 days (or closer) to the departure date will incur a cancellation penalty. Regardless of the reason, cancellations are costly in time and money. We have pre-purchased your lodging, tickets and any included meals - in most cases these are non-refundable from the vendor back to Toney Tours. Cancellation penalties on tours that include airfare and/or cruise fare begin 60 days prior to departure.
FINAL DOCUMENTS: Approximately seven days prior to departure, you will he mailed the final documents for you’re tour. Information included will be departure times and locations, hotel/motel phone numbers, baggage tags for your luggage and other pertinent information. No documents are sent on one day tours - you will be given departure times and locations when you make your reservation.
No smoking and no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the motorcoach.
SEAT ROTATION: Seats are not assigned, they are strictly first come first serve. Seats are rotated on a regular basis (the method to be determined by your tour director). There are no exceptions to the seat rotation policy.
LUGGAGE: You are allowed one large suitcase or garment bag and one “carry on” type bag per person. We provide porter service for your large bag. You are responsible for your carry on bag. We request that large bags be limited to no more than 45 lbs.
DEVOTIONALS: We honor Sundays with a nondenominational devotion on the motorcoach.
CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY: In the unlikely event that an attraction or event would need to he changed (due to weather, road conditions, etc.) we will make every effort to substitute the attraction or event with one similar or better.
RESPONSIBILITY: PHIL TONEY TOURS operates as a tour broker, licensed by the Interstate Commerce Commission and acts only as agent for the passenger in matters pertaining to hotel/motel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing and other services and cannot assume any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to person or property, mechanical defect or failure, of any nature, howsoever caused, for substitution of hotels or carriers, with or without notice. No carrier shall have or incur any responsibility or liability to any person taking these tours except its liability as a common carrier. PHIL TONEY TOURS reserves the right to decline or retain any person as a member of a tour at any time.
